OTABA is looking for BCBAs as Behavior Consultants across VA who are creative thinkers, collaborators, and have excellent leadership skills. This is a unique opportunity to utilize ABA skills in a consultative manner.

We are hiring for Therapeutic Consultation Behavior Consultants- this is a service under the Virginia DD Waiver, serving many individuals with disabilities including adults in group homes, day programs, as well as family consultation. Age of clients range from childhood, teen, to adulthood and adult-aging population. This can be a 100% virtual service, with office time, billable phone and video-conferencing calls, and in-person at your discretion. Level of hybrid is the BCBA’s choice-caseload is your choice. Lots of mentorship and guidance with the BCBA team. Old Town ABA is BCBA owned and operated with high efficiency, class, and A+ organization skills within the business. This is a contract, per-hour role at competitive rates with a minimum of a 6 client caseload, however no billable weekly requirements.

Responsibilities:
· Working efficiently in a consultative manner with a team. Phone calls, video calls, and in-person contacts with the client and their stakeholders. Office time for BCBAs on a rolling basis.
· Observation of behaviors and skills
· Functional Behavior Assessment
· Indirect assessment (interviewing, questionnaires)
· Direct Assessment (formal assessments of behavior and skills)
· Reviewing documentation and medical records, submitting reports
· Collaboration and conferring with individual and relevant others in the service team with poise.
· Behavior Support Plan writing with expert quality, thoughtfulness, and ABA-focused
· Modifying and updating Behavior Support Plan as necessary
· Training individual and relevant others in the service team
· Teaching and coaching on implementation, data collection, and how to evaluate effectiveness of BSP.
· Modeling ABA strategies and prompting strategies to families, caregivers, and related providers
· Onsite observations as well as telehealth observations
· Analyzing data and trends in graphical analysis
· Monitoring strategies and ongoing consultation

Qualifications:
BCBA
LBA in Virginia
Rockstar personality
