I am Rachel Evans M.Ed, BCBA, LBA, I live in the Shenandoah Valley area/Winchester area, and grew up in the Northern Virginia area. I specialize in providing behavioral services for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. I have been practicing ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) for 9 years. My passion for helping the Autism community comes from my love for my younger brother, a working adult with Autism. I can relate to familial challenges and the home environment of individuals with special needs. I want people with disabilities to be accepted, happy, and have the skills they need to thrive in their environment. I service all ages and developmental levels, as well as mentoring upcoming professionals in the field of behavior analysis. I am certified/licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine with my LBA, Licensed Behavior Analyst, and the Behavior Analyst Certification board (BACB with my BCBA, Board Certified Behavior Analyst). I received my Master’s Degree in Special Education from George Mason University in 2017. I obtained a Master’s certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis. I also have my Bachelor’s degree from Virginia Wesleyan University in Psychology and Studio Art. I am BLS/First Aid/CPR certified, and crisis management certified by Safety Care. I am highly experienced in providing ABA services and ongoing behavior plan writing and functional assessment.
